One Room Challenge Fall 2018 - Week 6

Well guys, after what felt like 6 very short weeks, we are excited to share the big reveal of our master bedroom transformation! It has been quite the rollercoaster of stress and excitement! I'm just happy it is complete and I have a true bedroom retreat!

Check out the entire design process here!

Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5

To truly appreciate the reveal, let me show you the before photos of this space:

Beige and blah.

This side of the room still fell flat because I ran out of money honey.

Long, narrow, boring and screaming for draperies.

Master Bedroom After

The inspiration for the room started with the 4 poster bed. Since the room is narrow and long, I wanted to create what feels like two separate areas. A "sleeping quarter" and a seating area. The posts on the bed help to visually define the two spaces. The floral wallpaper set the color scheme for the room and the rest is history! Here are the photos produced by the amazing Colleen Scott Photography!

A BIG thank you to my amazing husband, Mark. Without his support this would have never happened!

Ta-Da! This lovely bed is made by Universal Furniture,

The Chairs were a HomeGoods find, as well as the pillows on them The table between was scooped from At Home Stores. The Draperies were also a lucky HomeGoods find.

The wallpaper is made by Thibaut and installed by my wonderful installer JM Wallcovering. And the mirrors are from Uttermost.

This glorious bedding is from Eastern Accents.

The nightstand we didn't change. The are fairly new still. From a company called Coaster Furniture.

While I would have loved a new stately dresser and floor lamp for the corner, I ran out of money. Next challenge!

It was such a fun first experience as a guest participant on the One Room Challenge! check out all the other big reveals over at the "Calling it Home" blog!

Thanks for riding along with me, guys! Cheers!
